Wembley Park Live

Wembley Park’s search for the best local talent is back!

Are you a musician, living in Brent or the surrounding boroughs, or perhaps live elsewhere but have a close connection to Wembley?

Want to play at Wembley Park?

Then we want to hear from you!

Working in partnership with Busk in London, Wembley Park is expanding its talent pool of local musicians to be part of the new 2022 Wembley Park Live performance season starting in May.

If selected to join the talent roster, you will have the opportunity to be part of exclusive performance opportunities and paid gigs, including International Busking Day. Wembley Park Live gigs are stripped right back with a grassroots vibe, no big stage or fancy equipment – just you and your music.

The Lowdown

Applications are open to performers aged 14 years and up, with an easy-listening musical style suited to a wide audience, from classical to country, folk to pop and plenty in between. You must live in the London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Barnet or Camden.  Don’t live in one of these boroughs?  No problem, tell us what your connection to Brent is and we will take that into consideration! Although everyone is welcome to apply, we will be prioritising performers based in Brent and neighbouring boroughs and we ask that all performers are residents in Brent or the neighbouring areas for the duration of the Wembley Park Live season, May to September 2022.

All acts need to make sure they're completely portable, your equipment must be battery powered and you are happy to perform in a stripped back, lo-fi fashion.  Don’t worry if you are not kitted out with battery powered equipment. If selected, we will help you get all geared up!

Check out this video from Busk in London performer, John Clapper, that shows you how it's done!

Just before you hit the link to take you to the application form, please take a moment to read the details below:

  • Applications are open to solo or duo acts.

  • For acts with more than one member, you will be contacted for details of all members only if you are successful.  All additional members of the act must be 14 years old or above and will be required to supply details as given by the original applicant.

  • For acts under 18 years old, permission to apply will be sought from a parent/legal guardian

  • Wembley Park is home to residents, businesses as well as visitors.  It is really important that everyone enjoys the space and atmosphere, so no drum kits please (cajons are permitted).

  • If selected, performers will be required to hold public liability insurance (PLI) before their first performance.  You do not require PLI to apply.

  • If you are already on the Busk in London scheme, please do not apply. You will be automatically considered for the Wembley Park season.

  • Wembley Park Live is committed to diversity & inclusion and creating a welcoming environment for all musicians. We want our performers to be representative of the communities we perform in and welcome applications from all sections of society. We particularly encourage applications from disabled, Black, Asian and minority ethnic and female musicians as these groups are currently under-represented in the music industry.  If you are a disabled musician and have any questions about access, please contact Kate Jones, Programme Director, Busk in London on kate@foundinmusic.com

  • We will only use your data in relation to this application process and any subsequent Wembley Park Live activity.

  • Please read the Terms & Conditions here before completing the application form.  You are required to check the box on the application form confirming you have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
